Cracking the Productivity Bugs

As human beings, one of the most consistent trait we have is our need to accomplish a lot of things in a short amount of time. Think about that goal you have in mind to accomplish and you already have the agitation of feeling behind.

It is the humans way to always want to do everything and anything in the shortest amount of time and this has brought about the current need to hack the productivity bug so we can accomplish all our goals in record time

What is Productivity

Productivity is the ability to get what you want in less time and effort. I feel like this definition resonate more with a large number of readers because this is exactly what we all want to accomplish.

We want to do more in less time but can we really do more in less time thou. Do you ever have that feeling when you complete your to-do list for the day but still feel like you still haven't accomplished much. Well we all feel that way must of the time because we all feel that we most do many things before we feel productive or accomplished.

How difficult is Productivity

Because we always feel we must accomplished everything in a short timespan, there is a higher increase in the feeling of incompetence and disappointment amongst ourselves.

We feel like we are not doing enough already but the truth is most of the time, we are better than we were yesterday which is the whole point of being productive.

Productivity to me is the ability to move a step closer to either your goals or your system. Accomplishing a single task which draws you closer to your end goal is a productive day or week.

If you were to compare yourself of yesterday to the new you of today, how much have you growth in wisdom, career and goals. No matter how small you feel the growth is that is a productive cycle right here.

We are always hungry for more and always feeling like there isn't enough time to do what we want to do but if there is one thing we should always remember is productivity is not about doing more things but rather about doing the right things at the right time in a disciplined manner.

I would be writing more about tips on how to overcome procrastination and grow your productivity sense on my next article. Hope you enjoyed it. Bye
